Headed up by David Lindgreen, Bushel + Peck make handcrafted cider and perry, along with natural pressed apple juice, in the Gloucestershire part of the Cotswolds AONB.
With a commitment to making cider and perry with care and consideration for the planet. Bushel + Peck source all their fruit comes from unsprayed sources, the majority of which has been gathered from gardens and traditional orchards in Gloucestershire, along with some from one orchard each in the neighbouring counties of Wiltshire and Herefordshire. They also plant and restore traditional low-intensity orchards, where grasses and wildflowers can flourish, and support the Bumble Conservation Trust.
Bushel + Peck make their ciders within the quality specifications published by the Small Independent Cidermakers Association, and never chaptalise (add sugar at the fermentation stage to raise the alcohol content). You can read more about Bushel + Peck in this article by Cotswold Life magazine.
