Gould is a small maker based in Grampound, deep in Cornwall. Their cider and perry is crafted in small batches from their own orchard. They have planted a variety of apple and pear trees, including many traditional British and French varieties that produce cider and perry with outstanding taste, and take part in programs to preserve the heritage of rare varieties. They don't spray their trees with pesticides, and allow sward to grow around them, encouraging wildlife, and are going through the process for organic certification.
In 2019, Gould won Supreme Champion Cider of Cornwall with one of their ciders. As well as cider and perry, they also make a range of fruit juices, cider vinegar, desert wines and cider brandy.
