Yarlington Mill is a traditional bittersweet cider apple, originating in Somerset but favoured by cidermakers across the West. Gwatkin's world famous Yarlington Mill Cider is a rich, red, medium cider with a smooth taste. This cider was also named the CAMRA Cider Awards Champion in 2002 and 2009.

Gwatkin Cider is based at Moorhampton Park Farm in Herefordshire's Golden Valley, where cider and perry have been made for centuries. The Gwatkin family pride themselves on making good quality, traditional, full-juice cider and perry, using 100% fresh fruit juice from unsprayed orchards, without any artificial additives. They have won a number of awards for their ciders and perries, including at Hereford's Beer on the Wye which, in the heart of apple country, boasts stiff competition of over 100 ciders and perries.

Chris and Kayleigh tried Gwatkin Yarlington Mill at Explorers HQ in August 2020. We found it to be easy to drink, perhaps leaning to the sweet side of medium, with a gentle tannic background and a hint of earthy notes.
