Once Upon A Tree Chapel Pleck is a fine, dry, sparkling Herefordshire perry, made using the same method as champagne, to give elegance and finesse with a creamy brioche mouthfeel. Named after the local field from where Kynaston Chapel was swept away in a landslip in 1575, the maker suggests enjoying it as a celebration drink, or paired with soft cheese, olives or cured meats.

This fine perry is made from traditional varieties of perry pear gathered by hand from local orchards in Herefordshire. After pressing and intitial fermentation, the perry is then conditioned and aged in the bottle, before disgorging the sediment.

Once Upon A Tree have won many awards over their history, with particular highlights including BBC Radio 4 Food & Farming “Drinks Producer of the Year” 2013 and winning the Bath & West Champion Perry Trophy in 2015.
