Wilding Cider Ditcheat Hill is a naturally sweet and gently sparkling blend of the best, selected, hand-picked fruit from a single orchard overlooking the Brue Valley. Yarlington Mill (40%), Browns (40%), Sweet Coppin (15%) and Ashton Brown Jersey (5%) come together to show off this excellent orchard. The result is pure, elegant and fresh, with lots of fruit, a tickle of sharpness and plenty of residual sugar to make it very drinkable. Cold racked in the winter to retain natural sweetness (Rural Method) and no additives.
The 2019 version of this popular favourite is lighter and fresher than 2018's version, partly because the Harry Masters Jersey was having an off-year, so it was replaced with the Yarlington Mill.
Wilding Cider is a small yet acclaimed maker based in Chew Magna, set up in 2018 by Beccy and Sam Leach after some years of hobby cidermaking. They cultivate and harvest traditional cider varieties from their own natural orchard, along with other unsprayed orchards they look after. They avoid additives and preservatives, preferring to harness wild yeasts and natural techniques, and allow their creations oodles of time to mature before releasing them.
