This delightful perry from Woodredding is a traditional-style full-juice medium perry. The perry pears come from unsprayed trees on Woodredding Farm which is in sight of May Hill, renowned as the birthplace of perry. Legend has it that the best perry pears are grown within sight of this landmark. When the fruit is ripe, the pears are then gathered, milled and pressed onsite, before being allowed a lengthy period to ferment and mature using natural yeasts.
Brian at Woodredding has won a number of awards for his cider and perry, including winner of the Big Apple Perry Trials in 2018 and winner of the Lawrence Reilly Perry Cup at the 2017 British Cider Championships.
Woodredding Medim Perry is made from a blend of Winnals Longdon, Blakeney Red, Yellow Huffcap and Brandy and was pressed after a glorious summer in 2018.
